Today Emily enters the real world- her first day of work as an adult. She graduated May 15 and just returned from a visit to London (more about that later). I must share this short little story… Being the oh so very wonderful mom my mother is, she packed Em a nice lunch for her first [...] On my birthday when I was growing up, my mom always asked what I wanted her to make for dinner. Since I can remember, I choose her sweet and sour pork. The tradition continued for years and soon she was making it for me when I came home from college and even sending it back [...] Who would have thought one could get so excited about spoons! All the time I spend cooking these days has led me to appreciate good utensils in the kitchen.
