Last week I was in Woodstock while Josh was traveling for work in Europe. It was great to be home, relax and spend time with family…
Lake Geneva with Mom and Katie for a little spa afternoon
As we were leaving we noticed grandma Nana was wearing these shoes with her outfit…
I said, I like your shoes Nana. She replied thanks and went on to explain that she ordered them from a catalog on clearance (for $90! not sure if that was so much clearance!!) but she was upset that she could not get the big ugly blue sticker off the back….
Dad, Becky, Katie and Savannah waiting for the train bound for the cubs game.
I decided it would be best if the baby and I stayed back. I rested, had cocktail hour with my grandparents and then my mom and I sat out on the deck. We enjoyed a quiet evening with Rosati’s pizza until the Cubs crew came back, then it wasn’t so quiet. Grandma Lura gave me the beautiful quilt she made for the new arrival of our little guy. To say it turned out amazing would be an understatement. More pics coming soon.
Crazy clouds over Woodstock Friday. The storm missed us but the clouds were quite intriguing.
As you may already know, Grandma Lura is famous for her pancakes (well famous in my book). Bette has been asking to get a taste of the pancakes that I always rave about, so I asked Grandma if she would host a little pancake breakfast…
It was the perfect week to be home. I picked and ate fresh raspberries right out of my Dad’s garden.
Gorgeous sunset in the backyard
