When I was home just before Thanksgiving, Liz and I took a photography class at the Chicago School of Photography in Lincoln Park. Liz found the class on Groupon for a really good deal, and knew I had a nice camera I didn’t really know how to use. It was definitely bootcamp in the sense that lots of information was packed into one day. Basically we leaned how to shoot our camera on manual mood and what the settings meant in terms of a picture’s exposure. I walked away knowing much more then when I started and feel much more knowledgeable about using my camera. Liz, well she just needs a camera and she could feel the same!
We went around the Lincoln park area and took pictures trying out what we had learned…

Not bad for two amateurs! We had a lot of fun and took some good pictures too. Christmas family photo shoot here I come….
